Welcome to Prepped & Planted! I'm Chanin, and I'm passionate about gardening. If you hire me as your consultant/coach, you'll soon notice that I can't talk about gardening without using my hands.

I believe everyone should learn to grow at least some of their own food. It's rewarding and reassuring, knowing we can provide nutritious food for ourselves and those we care about.

No experience? No problem. Start where you are, learn, and do. No garden season conditions will be perfect, so no garden will be perfect. It's all a learning and growing process. Enjoy it!

Every gardening season I learn something new (I'm always experimenting!) and love sharing that knowledge with my clients. I help gardeners thrive through consultations and coaching tailored to their unique needs.

Experience and Approach

I specialize in walking alongside gardeners as they prepare, plant, and care for their food gardens. I've been a gardener for over 20 years in the semi-arid, challenging growing conditions of Colorado and Wyoming. I'm also a CSU Extension Green School Certified Colorado Gardener. We'll put this experience and training to use to increase your confidence and success in your gardening journey.

I approach gardening in a practical way - try new things, learn from mistakes, do what works. I enjoy digging in the soil and reveling in garden successes. Food gardeners are a down to earth bunch. We connect with the land and with each other. Welcome to the community!
